"Exemplary" rating awarded to Falken AZENIS FK510 in the latest summer tire test by AUTOBILD

The AZENIS FK510 tires from Falken have received an "exemplary" rating from the German magazine AUTOBILD in the summer tire test. The AZENIS FK510 tires performed particularly well in the most important area for high-performance tires - safety, taking high places in braking tests on both wet and dry roads.

In issue 04/2022, the testers considered a total of eleven summer tires (most with a Y-speed index). The 225/45R18 tires were installed on a BMW 3 Series sports car and tested on various surfaces.

On wet asphalt, the achieved braking distance was 48 meters when stopping from 100 km/h, which is approximately 2 meters less than the car that took first place in this category. The Falken tires also proved their effectiveness on the wet handling course, lagging behind the winner in the category by less than a second.
