The Norilsk company recycles tires into rubber coatings

The Norilsk company "Severmetallstroy" has become the first resident of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) to be included in the register of legal entities that dispose of waste from the use of goods, reported the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.

The company is engaged in the acceptance and processing of old tires into rubber coatings, and the inclusion in the register should give the enterprise an additional advantage, as it confirms the fulfillment of the requirements for the availability of necessary equipment, capacities, staff of specialists and permits.

"Inclusion in the register is a testament for our company that we are on the right track, - said General Director of LLC "Severmetallstroy" Valeria Tereshkova. - Our goal is to show how to consciously and correctly handle waste for the future well-being of the environment".

Deputy Director of the Department for Accompanying the Implementation of Investment Projects of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (CRFE) Vladimir Gudkov said that under the agreement with the organization, the company has invested 34.2 million rubles in the project and received tax benefits and other administrative preferences.

Currently, 30 residents are implementing projects in the Arctic zone of the Krasnoyarsk Territory under agreements with CRFE, while the total amount of declared investments is 3.95 billion rubles.
