A resident of Nizhnekamsk organized a transcontinental bike ride on "Kama" tires

Nizhnekamsk resident Radik Zinurov covered 13,000 km from Vladivostok to Murmansk on a bicycle in 82 days, setting a personal record and testing Russian Kama Velta bicycle tires, according to the press service of Kama Tyres.

"The successful testing of Kama Velta tires in such extreme conditions of a transcontinental journey clearly demonstrates that the Russian bicycle tire manufacturer is capable of producing products that do not yield to world analogues. This experience opens up new horizons for the development of the bicycle industry in Russia and promotes import substitution in this segment," the tire company emphasizes.

The trip started on May 12 on Russky Island, and in three months Zinurov visited 35 cities in Russia, with a Kama Velta tire installed on the front wheel, which the traveler noted after the first 3,500 km of the route, "The tire is performing excellent. <...> Not a single puncture, and the wear is minimal".

Kama Tyres adds that "these words are especially valuable, considering that the other tire (a Continental Ride City was installed on the rear wheel) was punctured twice during the same period. Even a minor accident, as a result of which the wheel was bent into an "eight", did not disable the Kama Velta - Radik was able to repair the damage to his bicycle and continue on his way".

On August 8, Zinurov finished in Murmansk, and during the trip, he averaged 150 km per day, with a record 350 km in 14 hours.
