Nexen Tire will supply N’Fera Supreme S tires with enhanced comfort for the primary equipment of the Hyundai Nexo — a recently updated version of the crossover, released seven years ago and running on hydrogen fuel cells, providing a range of up to 700 km.

According to the manufacturer, Nexen N’Fera Supreme S combines low noise levels with high load capacity, durability, and the ability to improve directional stability, making them optimally suited for a hydrogen-electric vehicle. Thanks to the even distribution of pressure, optimized using artificial intelligence, and the reinforced sidewall design, they improve steering sensitivity and withstand increased loads. Additionally, the tires are designed to provide maximum efficiency even at a 50% wear level, made possible by the "Level Keeping Technology" that maintains the tread shape. The aerodynamic design also reduces air resistance, further increasing energy efficiency and improving braking properties and handling, including at high speeds.

To reduce noise, the Noise Reduction System (NRS) technology was used, and a layer of sound-absorbing material is attached to the inner surface of the tires, reducing resonant noise. Meanwhile, the tread pattern, designed using AI, also improves acoustic comfort in various conditions.

Nexen consistently develops cooperation with global automakers, such as Hyundai, increasing brand recognition in the global market. Since 2016, the company has supplied tires for Porsche and is now a partner of major automotive brands in Europe and the US. Additionally, Nexen continuously expands its supply of tires for eco-friendly vehicles, and according to the company's approach, its products are adapted for use on both ICE vehicles and electric cars.

"The fact that we will equip the new hydrogen electric vehicle with our tires is further evidence of our technological competitiveness in the market for future eco-friendly mobility," says Nexen. "In the future, we will continue to strengthen our relationships with global automakers and offer tires that are optimally suited for all types of vehicles, including hydrogen, electric, hybrid, and internal combustion engine vehicles."
