The most popular Nizhnekamsk tire in 2025 has been named

The best-selling tire from Kama Tyres last year was the summer passenger Viatti Strada 2, which was the sales leader in both the official online store of the Nizhnekamsk tire complex and the overall turnover structure.

"The high demand for Viatti Strada 2 confirms the interest of buyers in models that combine relevant operational characteristics, technologicality, and modern approaches to production," said Timur Sharipov, Executive Director of TD "Kama". "For Kama Tyres, the development of such solutions remains one of the priorities in tire design."

The company adds that Strada 2 is not only the most popular but also the most environmentally friendly in the company's lineup, as the rubber compound includes "green" synthetic rubber SSKI-3, which is made using isobutane obtained from the processing of pyrolysis condensate, the raw material for which is old tires. Thanks to this approach, the manufacturer reduces carbon dioxide emissions and the consumption of traditional petroleum products.

Last year, passenger tires accounted for 48% of Kama Tyres' total sales, indicating a sustained high demand for products in this category. It is also reported that, judging by the sales structure, passenger and light truck tires in mass sizes remain in demand: the top sizes included 175/65 R14, 185/75 R16C, 185/65 R15, 175/70 R13, 195/75 R16C, 225/75 R16, 195/65 R15, 185/60 R14, and 215/65 R16.

"Compared to 2024, the composition of the most popular sizes has generally maintained continuity, but there have been individual changes within the top," notes Kama Tyres. "This may indicate a gradual adjustment of the demand structure depending on the model range of cars presented on the market."
