Sumitomo releases the all-season tire Falken Euroall Season AS220 to the European market, which has become the first model of the brand to be made using the Vario Core technology, i.e., thanks to the optimization of the lightweight design, materials, tread pattern, and aerodynamics, it is suitable for operation on both conventional vehicles and hybrids and electric cars.

The novelty features the Chaotic Array tread pattern, designed to improve handling in changing weather conditions, while the Hydro Grooves channels divert water from the contact patch, reducing the risk of aquaplaning and shortening the braking distance on wet roads. In addition, the Snow Compaction Grooves retain snow, increasing the level of traction in winter conditions, and the chamfered block edges (Chamfered Block Design) improve handling characteristics due to the even distribution of loads across the tread surface and provide control over the vehicle when performing complex maneuvers.

The design of the AS220 sidewalls has been refined to increase aerodynamic efficiency, which improves stability at high speeds and "gives the tire a modern look", and the rubber compound is designed to provide reliable traction in both summer heat and winter conditions.

Falken Euroall Season AS220 tires are available in 65 sizes with diameters from 15 to 20 inches, and according to the European classification system, the tires have been rated "B/C" for fuel efficiency, "B" for wet grip, and "A/B" for noise. As with other Falken tires, the new tire comes with a 5-year warranty, which "emphasizes the company's commitment to producing products that function reliably over a long period".
