Kama Tyres has released a new all-steel cord (ASC) tire, Kama NU 705, for all axes of cargo transport, designed for use in difficult road and climatic conditions. The novelty is suitable for operation on construction sites, in quarries, as well as on snow, ice, and off-road in difficult terrain, and the manufacturer claims that the tires maintain their efficiency over a wide temperature range from -45 to +55 °C.

The tread pattern consists of massive polygonal blocks with pronounced grip edges and a developed network of longitudinal and transverse channels, allowing the tires to work on surfaces with variable grip levels, where stable traction, resistance to mechanical stress, and rapid self-cleaning from dirt, snow, and small fractions of soil are of particular importance.

The design of the central zone of the tread is designed to improve stability and uniform pressure distribution in the contact patch, while the large blocks in the shoulder sections increase resistance to external influences on sections with complex terrain. In addition, additional pattern elements increase the number of working edges, enhancing grip on snowy, loose, or mixed surfaces.

The tires have the M+S (Mud+Snow) and POR (Professional Off-Road) markings, confirming their suitability for use off-road and in difficult weather conditions, and Kama Tyres adds that "the reinforced tire design is the result of a comprehensive modernization, including optimization of the internal structure and the use of modern materials".

"When developing the Kama NU 705, key attention was paid to the strength of the design, versatility of application, and sustainability of the tire in difficult operating conditions," noted Timur Sharipov, Executive Director of Trading House "Kama". "For this segment, it is especially important to combine reliability, traction characteristics, and the ability to withstand intense loads on different types of surfaces - from construction sites to winter roads and off-road sections".

The new model has complemented the Kama tire line for carriers and enterprises operating in the construction, industrial, and raw materials sectors, and has been released on the market in the size 315/80 R22.5. The tire is suitable for operation at speeds up to 90 km/h, and the maximum load is 4250 kg for single and 4000 kg for dual wheels (speed and load indices - G and 158/156, respectively).
