Maxxis introduced a new tire for off-road competitions

Currently, in California, the popular off-road competition King of the Hammers (KOH) is taking place, during which the company Maxxis presented the first of two versions of the off-road tire Maxxis Razr MT-C (Competition), designed for motorsport.

The new 40-inch tire was developed and tested during previous racing seasons and is made from a soft rubber compound, increasing traction on large boulders and uneven surfaces, making it a suitable choice for KOH participants. The second variant of the Razr MT-C, which is currently under development, will feature a compound with increased resistance to cuts and punctures and is designed for long desert races such as the Baja 1000.

KOH is considered one of the most challenging off-road races in the world, combining desert speed runs with rock crawling.
