Marangoni has developed a new "winter" tread strip

Marangoni has expanded its Blackline tread range and introduced a new WSS 370 XXS model in size 445/45 R19.5, designed for trailer tire retreading and developed to provide high traction in winter conditions, as indicated by the 3PMSF marking (three-peak mountain snowflake). 

The company says that the bidirectional symmetrical tread pattern with 3D lamellas provides a wide contact patch and a high level of traction, including on snow and ice, making the WSS 370 XXS a good choice for operation in northern countries. 

The shoulder areas feature wide transverse grooves that accelerate tread self-cleaning and water drainage, and the manufacturer emphasizes that the tread pattern has been optimized to reduce noise, while the Blackline rubber compound simultaneously increases the tread life and reduces rolling resistance, including at low temperatures.
