Cordiant conducted a test drive of the new generation of truck tires

The Cordiant holding company organized a test drive of the new generation of Cordiant Professional cargo tires in Kaliningrad, which was held as part of the annual conference for the company's key clients from among the vehicle fleets.

Volvo trucks were used, and the conference guests themselves took the wheel. The test drive took place on a specially prepared site, the program included a "snake" run, a turn, braking before the line, and entering a box, and the company reports that "as a result of the test, the conference participants personally convinced themselves of the high quality of the regional cargo tires Cordiant Professional of the second generation and noted their full compliance with the requirements of modern vehicle fleets".

The tires Cordiant Professional FR-2 for the steering axle were tested, which, as noted in Cordiant, demonstrated "unmatched handling characteristics", and DR-2 for the driving wheels, "showing confident traction properties with the road surface".

The manufacturer emphasizes that the tires retain their characteristics throughout their entire service life, which became possible thanks to the deep-seating lamellas in the FR-2 tire, as well as the Re-Cor technology: when the tire projector is 65% worn, special transverse lamellas open in the DR-2 tires, enhancing the grip.

Cordiant Professional second-generation tires were officially presented in August 2025 at the ComAutoTrans exhibition in Moscow, and the updated line includes, in addition to the FR-2 and TR-2 models, also the TR-3 tire for trailers. The tires are produced at a plant in Yaroslavl.
