"Cordiant" introduced the first winter tire Gislaved of its own design

While previously "Cordiant" represented on the market winter tires Gislaved with tread patterns from models Continental and Bridgestone, whose Russian factories are now part of the holding, in the fall of 2026, the first tire for the cold season, fully developed by the company itself, will go on sale.

The studded novelty was named Gislaved One W, and its creation was handled by specialists from the Intair Research and Development Center "using technologies and engineering solutions accumulated at enterprises that were previously part of global tire concerns", and if we judge by the passed certifications, the tire will become the " ancestor" of a new One line, which will include models such as the One HT highway tire for crossovers/SUVs and the One C for commercial vehicles over time.

The technical characteristics of the One W are not yet being disclosed, limited to the usual assurances in such cases that a "truly balanced product" has been created. It is also reported that the tires "combine high traction characteristics, stability on winter roads and acoustic comfort during daily operation", and during their development, emphasis was placed on ensuring optimal handling on all types of coatings.

Gislaved One W will be produced in a wide range of 75 sizes with a diameter from 16 to 22 inches, which will allow covering a significant part of the Russian car fleet, and the target audience includes owners of both passenger cars and crossovers. The tires will be produced at plants in Kaluga and Ulyanovsk, previously owned by Continental and Bridgestone, respectively.
