Apollo Tyres was named 'Investor of the Year 2014' in Hungary
Representatives of Apollo Tyres have received a prestigious award in the field of investment. Their efforts in this area were noted by the organizers of the Hungarian "Investor of the Year 2014" award. The company received the prize from the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency. The event is also supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hungarian Ministry of Trade.
The award ceremony for the winners took place in Budapest. The annual ceremony was held at the Pesti Vigado, and this year it was already the third time it took place. The representatives of the organizing committee named the winners in eight nominations.
In addition to Apollo Tyres, other well-known companies, such as GE Hungary and Nokia Solutions & Networks, also received the prestigious award. The organizers noted their significant contribution to the development and establishment of business and industry in Hungary.
It is worth noting that Apollo Tyres did not receive this status for nothing. In total, the volume of investments made by the company in its enterprises in Hungary last year amounted to 475 million euros.
Recall that in Hungary, Apollo has a truck tire production facility located near the capital, where about a thousand new jobs were created just last year. This is a great foundation for the future.
