Luan career tire set a record for mileage
The ultra-large Luan HA-162 tire, size 27.00R49, produced by Haian Rubber Group, has set a new world record for mileage, operating for 26,530 hours at a coal mine in Shilin-Hoto (Inner Mongolia, China), according to local media.
The tire, designed specifically for the mining industry, has an outer diameter of over four meters and weighs over five tons. Haian Rubber ranks fourth in the world and first in China in terms of production volume of tires of this category. The company is capable of producing 20,000 tires of similar sizes per year, which are exported to countries with rich mineral resources around the world.

The company notes that the success of the business is due to the fact that tires are produced taking into account the individual needs of customers, and technical specialists develop tread patterns and rubber compound recipes taking into account the altitude, road and other conditions in which the tires will be operated. Thanks to this, the company's export share currently accounts for 74.23% of its revenue.
In 2008, Haian Rubber was the first in China to produce a 37.00R57 tire, and in 2013, it began producing 59/80R63 tires. After that, Haian Rubber became the third company capable of producing tires of this size, which are the largest in the world.
As part of its expansion, Haian Rubber has opened branches in key markets such as Russia and Australia, and in May this year, it successfully conducted an IPO, with the funds raised primarily used to expand production capacity and build a new research center.
