The Kaluga plant of Gislaved has confirmed compliance with international standards

The Gislaved tire plant in Kaluga, which is part of the Cordiant holding, has passed a scheduled audit of the integrated management system, and the enterprise has confirmed its compliance with the requirements of international standards, the company's press service reports.

An audit was conducted for compliance with the ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management), ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety) and ISO 50001:2018 (energy management) standards, and Cordiant notes that "auditors highly appreciated the effective team work of the enterprise and the company's constant striving to optimize production processes".

As part of its long-term strategy, the holding plans to increase the capacity of the Kaluga plant (formerly owned by Continental), bring the enterprise's products to export markets, improve production efficiency and invest in research and development, as well as in digital technologies.

"One of our key tasks is to meet customer expectations and satisfy their requests at the highest level," said Pavel Borodatov, the plant's director. "We are rightly proud that our enterprise has passed a scheduled audit and confirmed its compliance with standards. Gislaved in Kaluga is one of the most modern full-cycle tire enterprises in the Russian Federation, which produces premium-quality products."
