Hankook receives awards from Honda

Hankook Tire announced that as one of the best suppliers, it received two 2023 Mass Production Supplier Awards from Honda, which were awarded to the tire manufacturer's North American division. 

Hankook was awarded for the quality of its products and the efficiency of its supplies, as well as for the fact that the company's tires have a high quality-to-price ratio. Out of 52 award-winning suppliers, only four, including Hankook, won in two categories at once.

"These awards reflect our unwavering commitment to developing technological innovations and creating high-tech tires for our automaker customers and end-users," said Rob Williams, president of Hankook's North American division. "We are pleased to continue raising the bar for tire quality with Honda, especially in the electric and hybrid vehicle tire segment."

Hankook and Honda began cooperating in 2013, and now the companies continue to develop their partnership through the expansion of supplies for the equipment of new cars in North America. In total, Hankook equips tires for about 280 car models from more than 50 brands around the world, and the company says it continues to strengthen ties, including with Japanese manufacturers such as Honda, Nissan and Toyota.
