Goodyear collaborates on development of natural rubber source in the US

The US has classified natural rubber as a strategic material that serves as a crucial ingredient for aviation, military, and freight tires. Currently, the country relies on imported rubber for tire production, but wants to decrease this dependence, so the government and military are working with private partners to accelerate the commercialization of natural rubber from dandelions.

Goodyear Tire & Rubber will play a key role in achieving this goal.
