Goodyear Receives FEDIL Award for Environmentally Friendly Traction Resin

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has been awarded the 2021 Environmental Award in the "Process" category, presented by FEDIL, the Luxembourg multi-industry business federation. 

In this category, the company was recognized for its eco-friendly traction resin, which was developed at Goodyear's Innovation Center in Colmar-Berg for use in the production of ultra-high-performance tires. This special resin replaces oil-based resins traditionally used in tire production.

It will also help the company achieve an important goal - to produce tires from 100% eco-friendly materials that require no maintenance by 2030.
