Goodyear Farm Tires plans to expand its product line

Goodyear Farm Tires (part of Titan International and licensed to sell Goodyear tires in Europe, the Middle East, and other regions) has outlined its plans to expand its product range in 2025, aimed at allowing the company to "meet the constantly changing requirements of the agricultural sector".

The main focus will be on developing the line of low-profile tires using Low Sidewall Technology (LSW) and developed at a specialized research center in France. Over the next 12 months, a range of new LSW tire sizes is planned to be released, as well as expanding the capabilities of products already available on the market.

According to the company, the most popular combination of LSW tires for agricultural equipment in the UK and the rest of Europe is currently the combination of 1100/45R46 tires on the rear and 1000/45R32 tires on the front axle, which can be used on various tractors, including those from the John Deere, Case, and New Holland brands.

"We have returned Goodyear Farm Tires to the European market six years ago and have made significant progress," noted Lindsay Hart, the company's sales director in Europe. "Of course, market conditions in 2024 were challenging, but we are pleased to continue our development across Europe and expand into new territories, such as Poland. We have ambitious plans for further development in 2025, and the basis for growth will be advanced technologies, the release of new tire sizes, and improved customer support and service levels."

According to Hart, due to the fact that LSW technology tires can reduce soil compaction, they have "gained significant popularity among European farmers", who also appreciate the ability of tires to increase equipment efficiency and reduce equipment wear in the long term.

In 2022, the company expanded its production capacity in Turkey, which allowed it to increase the range of radial tires. First of all, new sizes were added to the popular Optitrac line, and the focus was on the most in-demand sizes of the 65, 70, and 85 series.

"We have a wide range of reliable, high-quality tires that fit any equipment, from compact tractors to larger equipment, and are offered at a high level of availability and competitive prices, which allows us to meet the needs of European partners. And our offer will only improve," Hart summarized.
