Readers of "Behind the Wheel" named the best tire brand of the year

The automotive magazine "Behind the Wheel" summed up the results of two rounds of voting and named the winners of the "Brand of the Year" award - 2025 in seven categories. This year, 144,188 people voted for the best automotive component brands, which is over 15,000 more than in 2024, and in the "Tires" category, all three top spots went to brands from domestic manufacturers.

Readers of ZR put the Viatti brand from the Nizhnekamsk tire complex Kama Tyres in first place, and the Kama brand from the same manufacturer in second place. The two brands received 40.59% and 28.39% of the vote, respectively, significantly outpacing other companies' brands. Ikon Tyres, which operates on the former Nokian Tyres facilities in the Leningrad region, took bronze, followed by Pirelli, Yokohama, Hankook, Gislaved, Cordiant, Kumho, and Torero.

ZR noted that "the interest of Russian motorists in the award is growing, the number of respondents is increasing, and the results obtained more accurately reflect the situation on the Russian market." The publication adds that after the departure of many foreign brands, the situation on the domestic market for automotive components "continues to change rapidly," and "Russian motorists have become more trusting of Russian brands."

In Kama Tyres, they thanked those who voted for the company's brands and emphasized that "we continue to develop technologies, improve safety standards, and create tires that can be relied upon in any conditions and on any roads."

"Thank you for choosing our tires. We will continue to do everything to justify your trust and exceed your expectations," the company said.
