Insufficient tire pressure: insufficient pressure affects handling, stability, and traction. With insufficient traction, the risk of aquaplaning increases significantly, even at low speeds. Fuel consumption inevitably increases, and the risk of damaging the sidewall of the tire, which is often irreparable, also increases. And, of course, one cannot forget about uneven wear. With insufficient pressure in the tire, the wear on the shoulder areas of the tread increases significantly. Regularly check the tire pressure and maintain it at the level recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.

Overloading: Exceeding the maximum load capacity of the tires can lead to wear and damage to the tires. Ensure that the weight of your vehicle does not exceed the recommended values indicated in the manual or on the information sticker located on the fuel tank lid or driver's door opening.

Incorrectly adjusted "toe-in" angle: can cause uneven wear of the tires, which reduces their lifespan. And, of course, it's worth noting that incorrectly adjusted wheel alignment angles simply do not provide full contact patch of the tire with the road, which also affects safety.

Ignoring wheel balancing: unbalanced wheels can cause vibrations and accelerated wear of the tires. This is especially relevant for owners of two sets of wheels. It should be remembered that as the tread of the tires wears out, the relevance of balancing may change. Balance the wheels with each replacement or damage to the tire, but at least once a year.

Using different types of tires on one vehicle: using different types of tires (different manufacturers, tread patterns, sizes) not only contradicts traffic rules but will inevitably lead to a dangerous situation on the road. Tires with different characteristics cannot brake equally, so when braking sharply or aquaplaning, the vehicle will simply skid or lose control. Use only identical tires on all wheels.

Incorrect tire storage: incorrect tire storage will reduce the characteristics and lifespan of the tires. Tires should be stored in a ventilated room without exposure to precipitation and direct sunlight. It is important to store tires without bags, away from batteries and motor oils.
