Airless tires by Toyo are used at the World Expo "Expo-2025"
Tires Toyo noair with a non-pneumatic structure were installed on golf cart analogs at the World Expo "Expo-2025", which takes place from April 13 to October 13 in Osaka (Japan). The transport is used to transport personnel in the Future Life Experience center, where advanced technologies are presented, as well as in the Serbia pavilion, since the Toyo plant is located in this country.
In Toyo, they note that modern mobility continues to evolve, taking into account environmental considerations and the electrification of vehicles, as well as the introduction of autonomous driving technologies, and the company has been developing airless tires since 2006. In 2017, the noair airless tires were presented, which, according to the manufacturer, can be installed on passenger cars and used at high speeds. At the moment, Toyo is testing tires and continues to improve their characteristics for practical application, including in the field of "green" mobility.
"Toyo Tire provided electric cars equipped with maintenance-free airless tires noair to help participants and staff of the Osaka-Kansai Expo move, saving time, and reducing damage to the ecology," the company said.
