Belshina increases production of innovative products
In 2025, JSC "Belshina", like in previous years, plans to increase the production and sales of tires, said Vladimir Kosinsky, Deputy General Director for Commercial Issues of the company, whose words are quoted by BELTA.
According to him, currently, the majority of Belshina's products are exported, primarily to Russia and other CIS countries. "In the context of complex geopolitical relations, the supply of products to unfriendly EU states has been terminated, however, work with constructively-minded countries of the further arc shows significant positive dynamics by the end of 2024," he stated.
Last year, Belshina sold over 4.2 million tires, and Kosinsky emphasizes that the company continues to develop innovative products, which accounted for 15.9% in 2024, and this figure is growing every year. Another priority is diversification of sales markets, including expanding presence in Asia and Africa.
In the primary equipment segment, Belshina cooperates with almost all Belarusian automobile, agricultural, and road construction equipment manufacturers. "We are in the process of constant interaction, developing tires with the required characteristics for our manufacturers according to individual orders. In particular, together with the Minsk Automobile Plant, we plan to develop new tires for use on MAZ-6440RR sports cars of the "MAZ-SPORTavto" sports team," Kosinsky noted.
By 2030, Belshina intends to develop over 100 new product lines and improve the characteristics of tires for trucks, agricultural, and other special equipment. This was reported to the BELTA agency by Sergey Kayushnikov, the head of the company's engineering and technical center.
In 2024, 18 new tire sizes were launched into production, including two for MAZ trucks, 14 for the domestic Belarusian market, and two for export.
Belshina is also developing cooperation with Chinese partners. In May 2024, a delegation from the National Engineering Research Center for Advanced Equipment and Key Materials for Tires from Qingdao visited the company. It is reported that agreements were reached on cooperation in the field of production technologies for passenger, truck, and ultra-large tires, digital design, raw material support, etc.
