Belshina prepares to launch tires for electric cars

According to him, "there are certain structural characteristics that we must meet," and the tires will be produced in sizes with diameters of 19 and 20 inches.

"Generally speaking, the optimal period for developing and launching a tyre into serial production is about six months. Our goal is to master and launch these tyres into serial production by February 2027. This is a new area for us. Everything depends on how successfully and effectively our design team works on it," noted Rusetsky.

The Belshina manager also said that the plant currently produces over 200 tire models, of which 120 are intended for passenger cars, and the company's workforce totals 1,540 employees. The company's share of the domestic Belarusian market is approaching 50%.
