Announcement of the release of new sports-touring motorcycle tires Maxxis
Maxxis releases new tires Maxxis Supermaxx ST3 (MA-ST3) to the market, which are suitable for use on a wide range of motorcycles, both sports and touring, and will be available for sale starting from August of this year.
Supermaxx ST3, which took five years to develop, is made from a new rubber compound that, according to the manufacturer, provides reliable traction on wet roads and high wear resistance, while the construction has been strengthened to improve stability at high speeds, and the tread pattern with additional lamellas is designed to increase the level of safety in rainy weather.
The tires also feature stiff sidewalls, which also improve stability and handling at high speeds, and new rubber mixing technologies have helped increase the lifespan of the novelty by 15% compared to the previous generation model — Maxxis Supermaxx ST2.

In Maxxis, they add that Supermaxx ST3 has demonstrated impressive results in track and road tests and behaves stably, including at high speeds and during emergency braking, as well as allowing for turns with large angles of inclination. "In general, Maxxis Supermaxx ST3 is a tire suitable for both sporty driving style and, due to the increased resource, for fans of tourist trips on a motorcycle," the company assures.
According to Danny Peters, sales director of the motorcycle and ATV tire department at Maxxis, "Supermaxx ST3 is the result of intense development and thorough testing, and our goal was to create a tire that would set new standards in terms of both efficiency and safety".
