Description Zmax Winterhawke I
The Zmax Winterhawke I winter tire is designed for operation in regions with moderately cold climates. It is distinguished by improved traction on wet and snowy surfaces, acoustic comfort, smoothness of ride, and high mileage.
The tread pattern is made with a directional V-shaped arrangement of grooves. In addition to the layout, it is distinguished by the use of several types of lamellas. Cuts with serrated edges provide reliable traction on the most slippery surfaces. Straight lamellas increase resistance to aquaplaning, directing excess moisture to the drainage grooves. In most sizes, the tread accommodates around 2500 such cuts. Along with the elastic rubber compound, this allows the tire to more closely hug the unevenness of the road surface, providing more reliable traction with it.
