The Windforce Icepower UHP winter tire is designed for dynamic modifications of passenger cars. It is distinguished by improved driving qualities at high speeds, maintaining them on any slippery surface.
The tread pattern is made non-symmetric. It is characterized by large block sizes, which increases the contact patch and provides the formation of elongated cutting edges in it. A significant part of them is located transversely, which provides high traction and braking force on snow. The effectiveness of the tread on icy surfaces is achieved due to the variety and numerousness of lamellas. Drop-shaped slits additionally dry the contact patch, strengthening the grip with the road surface. In turn, 3D lamellas form a multitude of additional cutting edges, allowing the tire to grip any slippery surface much better.
