Description Triangle TR777 185/65 R15 92T XL

Triangle TR777 — a winter tire of the economy class. SNOW LION TR777 provides good operating characteristics in winter conditions. The optimized lamella system provides good braking, increased resistance to lateral drift, improved handling and traction.

The special tread pattern geometry minimizes the noise level and provides good working characteristics even on clean roads, improved traction and fuel efficiency. Four continuous longitudinal grooves provide good handling on snow and slush, as well as prevent aquaplaning.

Features of the Triangle TR777 tire

— Thanks to the special rubber compound, the tire has high traction characteristics on snowy and icy road surfaces, even in conditions of low ambient temperature;
— Thanks to the special treatment of the tread blocks, the Triangle TR777 tire wear is uniform;
— Due to the effective work of the central blocks, the maximum tire traction with the road surface is achieved

Triangle TR777: budget winter tyre for city use in areas with moderate winters

The model is of interest to buyers who are looking for a predictable winter tyre for city roads at an affordable price. The main advantage is a smooth ride and quiet operation on cleared asphalt, but on pure ice it loses out to studded counterparts.

Who is it suitable for: This tyre proves itself in city driving, where roads are regularly cleared and treated with chemicals. Buyers appreciate its smooth ride and low noise level compared to studded models. On snow and slush, its behaviour is predictable, as confirmed by a handling rating of 4.07 out of 5. The tread life with moderate driving is 3-5 seasons, which seems reasonable for the budget segment. Most sets are balanced without issues, with balancing weights usually within 20-30 grams. The model is well-suited for four-wheel drive vehicles, which compensate for its limitations on ice. If you live in a region with moderate winters and do not plan aggressive driving, the purchase seems logical. The price allows you to change the set every few years without a serious strain on your budget.

Who should consider an alternative: It's better to choose a different class if you often encounter black ice and uncleared roads. The model is less suitable for those who plan to drive at temperatures below -20 degrees without warming up the tyres. For an aggressive driving style and high speeds on the highway, it's more reasonable to look towards more grippy options. Owners of rear-wheel drive cars without stabilisation systems should consider the lower grip on ice. If you expect a premium level of grip, this tyre will not meet your expectations. At speeds above 100-120 km/h, noticeable hum may appear.

Main reason for choice: The main argument for purchasing is the sustainable price-to-quality ratio in the budget segment of winter tyres. You get predictable behaviour on snow, comfort while driving, and quiet operation on cleared asphalt. The practical benefit is that for reasonable money, you cover basic winter needs without overpaying for the brand. Reasonable expectations: the tyre won't turn your car into an off-roader on ice, but it will confidently handle city driving. With a moderate driving style, a tread life of 3-5 seasons makes the purchase economically justified. The final advice: buy it if your priority is price, comfort, and city driving, rather than extreme grip.
