Description Triangle TR624
The Triangle TR624 summer cargo tire was specifically designed for small-capacity trucks and vans that operate mainly in urban conditions. Like most other Chinese tire products, this model boasts an attractive price-to-quality ratio. Another nice feature of this tire is its high load-carrying capacity, which speaks to the well-thought-out design of its construction.
Tread Pattern
When creating the tread pattern of the Triangle TR624 tire, Chinese specialists paid primary attention to reducing rolling resistance, wear resistance, and stability at high speeds. That's why the tread pattern of this model has features characteristic of both passenger and cargo tires.
The tread pattern consists of five longitudinal ribs, three of which are located in its central part, and the other two represent the shoulder areas. Such a division of tread elements is due to the desire to provide the tire with maximum efficiency in various driving modes. That's why each zone of the tread performs a strictly defined set of tasks.
In the very center of the tread, the Chinese tire manufacturers placed a wide longitudinal rib with a very rigid structure due to the absence of breaks. This made it possible to achieve a number of significant advantages. First of all, this is excellent directional stability when driving at high speed. Additionally, the rigid rib in the center of the tread provides an instant response of the tire to steering wheel rotation, which gave the handling clarity and predictability.
The two other ribs, located in the central part of the tread, have a composite structure. Each of them represents a series of separate blocks of a trapezoidal shape. Thanks to them, the contact patch has multiple edges of adhesion at any given time, which ensures high efficiency of acceleration and braking, especially on wet roads.
Main Features of the Triangle TR624 Tire
- The tire design is optimized with regard to the specific operating conditions of light trucks and vans;
- 5 longitudinal ribs of the tread pattern, which provides the tire with excellent directional stability;
- The rigid structure of the shoulder areas guarantees an even distribution of external pressure over the contact patch, thereby preventing the development of uneven wear;
- Special components in the rubber compound provide increased resistance to abrasive wear;
- Very low rolling resistance due to the small number of tread elements.
