Description Trelleborg TM1000 Progressive Traction R-1W
Agricultural tyre Trelleborg TM1000 Progressive Traction R-1W is designed for tractors. The model combines VF construction with ProgressiveTraction technology, based on a dual working edge of the lug. These features aim to enhance traction, reduce slippage, and minimize soil compaction.
Dual Lug Edge
The directional tread pattern consists of long, angled elements. An additional step at the base of the lug creates a second edge that engages with the ground. This design helps transmit tractive force more efficiently and reduces wheel slippage. The stepped profile also promotes self-cleaning by clearing mud and soil from the spaces between lugs.
VF Construction
VF construction allows operation at lower inflation pressures compared to standard agricultural tyres under similar load conditions. This helps reduce soil compaction during field operations. The manufacturer also highlights reduced vibrations and lower fuel consumption as operational benefits of this model.
