The Toyo Versado CUV summer light truck tire from the renowned and respected Japanese manufacturer is designed for a wide range of high-performance vehicles. The tire is mainly intended for SUVs, pickup trucks, and crossovers, which are primarily used on paved roads. This model is available in more than thirty sizes, with fitments ranging from 16 to 20 inches.
Japanese tire makers have equipped this model with a progressive asymmetric non-directional tread pattern, featuring a non-trivial design. At the same time, the Toyo Versado CUV tire has incorporated a range of proprietary technological developments aimed at improving its core operational characteristics. In particular, the asymmetric tread pattern provides more reliable traction in wet conditions and promotes a more even distribution of load across the contact patch, reducing the risk of uneven wear. Additionally, the asymmetric arrangement of tread elements has significantly reduced rolling resistance, providing the tire with excellent fuel efficiency.
It is also worth noting the application of the proprietary construction of longitudinal water drainage grooves by Japanese tire makers. These grooves have a zigzag structure, which, due to the optimal direction of air flows, has allowed for a significant reduction in noise levels. As for the drainage system itself, its high efficiency has been achieved through the use of four longitudinal grooves and numerous transverse channels, through which moisture is quickly removed from the contact patch to the outside.
