Toyo Snowprox S930

The Toyo Snowprox S930 winter tire was developed taking into account the specific climatic features of coastal regions, which are characterized by frequent and rapid changes in weather conditions. For this reason, the model demonstrates stability of traction properties, primarily on snowy and wet surfaces, offering a range of "signature" features for the brand's tires — high comfort, predictable behavior in complex situations, and high durability.

The tread pattern is designed in a symmetric design with a doubled massive longitudinal rib in the central part. This element reduces rolling resistance and wear, increases directional stability and steering accuracy at high speeds. Large blocks located on either side of the rib are supplemented by numerous lamellas, which increase the intensity of braking on slippery surfaces. Even more massive elements at the edge of the tread enhance traction properties and steering accuracy when maneuvering.

The Microbit Silica rubber compound was chosen for the tire, which includes a highly dispersed silica-containing base, natural rubber, and special plasticizers. This combination provides preservation of elasticity at low temperatures, improves traction on icy roads, and reduces wear during prolonged operation. Thanks to the use of microsilica, the tire retains stable characteristics even after several seasons, demonstrating excellent resistance to cracking and wear.

The internal structure of the tire features a double nylon cord and a rigid steel breaker, which increases the tire's resistance to deformation and lateral loads. This solution provides reliable contact between the tread and the road even when quickly rearranging or driving at high speeds. The optimized profile shape helps to evenly distribute pressure across the contact patch, reducing the risk of uneven wear and increasing the overall lifespan.
