Toyo H07

At a relatively low cost compared to most competitors, the commercial tire Toyo H07 stands out for its excellent performance, long service life, and a number of other important advantages. All of these are ensured by the use of modern technologies and the latest materials in its design, which the Japanese manufacturer characterizes, among other things, as affordable.

Applicability

This model is part of the primary equipment of the Toyota Hiace and is therefore offered by the manufacturer in only one size, 195R15 106/104S. This cannot be called a disadvantage, since it is quite common and is often used on modern commercial vehicles with small carrying capacity.

Square contact patch shape

Most of the tire's main operational properties are ensured by optimizing the tread profile. In a side projection, it has a barely noticeable elliptical shape. This solution made it possible to obtain a practically square contact patch, and at the same time, maximize its area. This, in turn, led to an improvement in traction properties, and due to the optimization of the distribution of external load, the carrying capacity, resistance to uneven wear. Additionally, this technical feature provides very stable and predictable vehicle behavior in complex situations.

Saw-toothed lamellas in longitudinal ribs

One of the characteristic features of the tire is the improved traction properties demonstrated in rainy conditions. These are achieved, not least, by the effective work of saw-toothed lamellas, which were placed by the developers in all four ribs. These elements form additional traction edges, which, in addition, further dry the contact patch, directing water into one of the drainage grooves. They also contribute to a more even distribution of external load across the contact patch, which increases the tire's service life.

High resistance to aquaplaning

The aforementioned drainage grooves perform their main function with maximum efficiency. This is ensured by the significant internal volume of these tread elements, which, among other things, has an increased depth.

Good stability at any speed

The tread of this tire contains four longitudinal ribs. Each of them is continuous throughout its length and has a large width, which provides high structural rigidity of these tread elements. This design has several undeniable advantages, demonstrated by the tire during movement - good stability at any speed, fast and accurate responses to steering wheel turns, low noise and vibration levels.

Optimized rubber compound

The composition of the compound was selected taking into account the peculiarities of commercial tire operation. It contains a number of components that provide the tread with maximum resistance to abrasive and uneven wear. But at the same time, all these properties are achieved without compromising other characteristics, primarily traction on a wet road, which was improved thanks to the rubber compound of the tread itself.
