The Toyo 350 passenger tire is a further development of the popular 330 model used all over the world. Compared to its predecessor, this novelty from the famous Japanese manufacturer is characterized by excellent handling, a high level of acoustic comfort, and a long service life.
Multifunctional shoulder area lames
A significant part of the advantages of this model is provided due to small tread elements. One of them is the so-called "peripheral" lames located in the shoulder areas. They open when turning, forming additional traction edges, which, in turn, significantly increase the tire's stability. In addition, these lames make the distribution of external pressure more even, reducing the likelihood of uneven wear.
Increased resistance to aquaplaning
This tire, when moving in rainy conditions, demonstrates increased resistance to aquaplaning. It is achieved due to several technical solutions, in addition to numerous drainage grooves. One of them is the wavy lames cut in almost all tread elements. When contacting the road, they form countless traction edges and also divert water into one of the nearby drainage grooves, increasing the tire's resistance to aquaplaning.
"Noise-reducing" profile of drainage walls
The high level of acoustic comfort, which distinguishes this model, is provided due to a whole complex of technologies. One of them is a special "noise-reducing" profile of the drainage groove walls. They contain multiple vertical protrusions that reduce the noise generated by the airflow passing through them at high speed.
Main features of Toyo 350
- excellent grip on wet roads and a long service life due to a rubber compound with a high silica content, which contains polymers of the new generation;
- excellent fuel economy is provided due to reduced rolling resistance, which was achieved through an optimized tread pattern design.
