Description Sava MC23
Unlike most other models from this Eastern European manufacturer designed for enduro motorcycles, the Sava MC 23 motorcycle tire has much less versatility. A whole range of design features make it perfectly suited for off-road use, first and foremost. If we consider its name RockRider, it is desirable that it be as rocky as possible. Nevertheless, this does not mean that this model will be helpless on the highway. On the contrary, its operational properties provide it with an quite acceptable level of grip on paved surfaces.
Open design of the tread pattern
One of the distinctive features of the external design of this model is the design of its tread pattern. It is characterized by a fairly high level of aggressiveness, which is due to the presence of a large number of small but high tread blocks. Each of them, thanks to its polygonal shape, forms a multitude of sharp edges of grip, which allows the tire to feel confident on off-road terrain. In this regard, it is impossible not to note the very large distance between the blocks, due to which the tread is extremely effective in getting rid of even fairly large stones.
To ensure a decent level of safety on the highway, the developers increased the size of the blocks in the central part, arranging them in a checkerboard pattern. This made it possible to significantly increase the size of the contact patch, which had a positive effect on the grip properties, and due to the longitudinal arrangement of the blocks, reduced rolling resistance.
