Such features allowed for faster transmission of lateral acceleration forces to the steering wheel, giving the handling process quickness and accuracy. The massive size of the shoulder blocks increases the contact patch area, which improved traction. At the same time, high transverse edges provide high efficiency when slowing down on snow.
Multi-radius tread profile
