The tire's rubber compound is made using Arctic Grip technology. The essence of the solution is the use of microscopic strong particles evenly distributed throughout the compound structure. They are designed to compensate for the lack of studs, allowing their hard edges to better grip the icy surface, making it possible to more reliably control the vehicle in such difficult conditions.
Improved snow handling
A distinctive feature of the tread pattern is the distribution of numerous blocks into groups. This solution ensures the formation of very long and high edges in the contact patch. They allow for effective realization of traction and braking effort on snow, maintaining good directional stability and precision in handling due to their multidirectionality in these conditions.
Low noise level
Despite the tread pattern with numerous blocks, the tire demonstrates a very high level of acoustic comfort. This is largely due to the presence of a special synthetic material with a porous structure on the inner side of the tire. The numerous air-filled cavities absorb a significant part of the noise and vibrations, which positively affects the acoustic comfort inside the vehicle, where low-frequency hum becomes substantially less.
Special rubber compound
The tire's tread is made from the Green Trace rubber compound. Its composition is almost one-third represented by rapeseed oil, pine tar, and natural rubber, which are renewable and recyclable materials. With their help, the strength of the compound against tearing and stretching is increased, as well as its resistance to abrasive wear, elasticity at low temperatures, and ability to conduct heat. As a result, the tire's mileage increases, the risk of penetrating damage decreases, fuel consumption is reduced, and traction at negative temperatures is improved.
