The universal cargo tire from the French manufacturer is designed for installation on trailers and semi-trailers used in long-haul and regional transportation.

This tire model is distinguished by an increased tread pattern depth of up to 17 mm, which has increased the tire's mileage by 15% compared to the previous generation tire. Additionally, the Michelin XTE3 tire has a wider tread, which has increased the tire's contact patch area.

Technologies in the Michelin XTE3 tire

A whole package of technologies was applied during the development of the tire, aimed at increasing the service life without losing operational characteristics. In particular, Michelin applied a technology to update the tread pattern using special lamellas, which increase the service life and combat the deterioration of characteristics during wear. These measures have significantly improved the traction and adhesion performance of tires worn by 2/3. The reinforcement of the carcass and the change in tire size make it possible to increase the maximum load on the axle by 400 kg.

Additionally, Michelin XTE3 tires, restored using the company's proprietary technology and passing a full quality control cycle, do not differ in their operational characteristics from new tires and are suitable for reuse.
