The Landsail RapidDragon SUV summer tire is a special version of the similarly named "passenger" model, designed for dynamic versions of crossovers and SUVs. It differs in its reinforced design, providing the same handling characteristics, demonstrating sports precision and stability in turns and at high speeds, the ability to accelerate and brake intensively on wet surfaces, along with low noise levels, good fuel efficiency and a long service life.
This model was developed based on the "passenger" RapidDragon, differing from it in the structure of the carcass. It uses the same synthetic cord, but with a larger number of layers. This compensates for the increased weight and high center of gravity of SUVs and crossovers, maintaining a well-chosen balance between sporty handling and comfort on the move. The tread pattern remains unchanged, featuring an asymmetric arrangement of elements and an increased number of transverse edges of blocks and lamellae. They allow for intense acceleration and braking on wet surfaces. The large width of the longitudinal grooves allows them to almost instantly divert from the contact patch almost any amount of water, preventing the effect of aquaplaning.
