Kumho KL12 Matrac STX - high-speed tire for 4x4 vehicles. The composition of the tread rubber mixture of the Kumho KL12 Matrac STX tire was developed with the aim of optimizing the behavior of the tire on roads of any type and taking into account many years of experience in the production and operation of tires for off-road vehicles. Unique polymer components that are part of the Kumho KL12 Matrac STX tire improve its behavior both on dry and wet roads.
The drainage channels in the shoulder area of the tread provide excellent water drainage from the contact patch and promote its even wear. The tread pattern consists of blocks of different heights, decreasing from the central to the shoulder area of the tread. Thus, the main mass of the tread is concentrated in the central part, where the most intense wear occurs. This ensures a lower weight of the Kumho KL12 Matrac STX tire and increases the efficiency of water drainage.
Features of the Kumho KL12 tire
— Summer tire Kumho Ecsta STX KL12 based on silica guarantees high operational properties regardless of temperature and weather conditions, suppresses vibration, and increases wear resistance.
— The V-shaped tread pattern of the Kumho Ecsta STX KL12 wheel, with a figured wide rib in the central part, provides high directional stability on the road and off-road, low rolling resistance, and suppresses lateral deviation.
— Two deep grooves in combination with lateral drainage quickly remove water from the contact patch of the Kumho Ecsta STX KL12 tire, suppressing aquaplaning.
— Wide figured shoulder lugs increase the transverse traction of the Kumho Ecsta STX KL12 tire during maneuvering, increase traction, and reduce braking distance.
— Small grooves and notches remove heat.
