Description Kapsen H201 TouringMax A/S
The Kapsen H201 summer tire was developed with the requirements of the so-called "average" car owner in mind. Most of us value tires not only for their sporty handling and uncompromising traction, but also for comfort, which is often associated with a soft ride, low noise level, and reliable, predictable reactions to our actions. This model is distinguished by precisely these properties.
Symmetrical Tread
The tire's tread pattern is designed according to "classic canons". It features a symmetrical arrangement of elements, the number of which has been significantly increased in line with modern trends. Most of these elements are lamellas and drainage grooves. During movement, they form numerous traction edges in the contact patch. These edges are arranged parallel to or at a significant angle to the direction of movement. On the one hand, this reduces rolling resistance, and on the other hand, it reduces noise levels. Additionally, the lamellas and drainage grooves provide increased resistance to aquaplaning.
Trapezoidal Blocks in the Shoulder Zones
Another feature of the tread design is the design of the blocks that form the shoulder zones. In a side projection, each of them has a trapezoidal shape, with the most massive part located closer to the central part of the pattern. This significantly increases the stability of the blocks to the effect of lateral accelerations and, as a consequence, improves traction and handling responsiveness during maneuvering. In turn, the transverse faces of these elements reduce the braking distance, especially on slippery, wet road surfaces.
Key Features of Kapsen H201
- a symmetrical tread with an increased number of elements provides reliable traction in any conditions;
- trapezoidal blocks in the shoulder zones improve traction and handling during maneuvering, reduce braking distance;
- excellent resistance to aquaplaning, thanks to lamellas and grooves
