Directional Tread Pattern

The tire's performance on slippery surfaces is largely ensured by the tread with a V-shaped arrangement of elements. It is distinguished by a sufficiently high openness, as it contains a large number of blocks separated by wide drainage grooves. They are arranged in such a way that when contacting the road, a multitude of very long edges are formed, directed at a sharp angle to the direction of movement. This arrangement improves not only the longitudinal traction and coupling properties but also the directional stability. These characteristics are fully preserved even in adverse weather conditions. The drainage grooves effectively cope with the removal of water and snow masses from the contact patch.
