The Hercules Avalanche X-Treme Light Truck winter tire is designed for large SUVs and pickup trucks, predominantly of North American makes. It is characterized by improved traction in snow, reliable grip on wet and icy surfaces, durability, and high mileage in adverse operating conditions.
The tread pattern features an S-shaped arrangement of transverse grooves. This ensures high traction and intense deceleration on any unstable surface, primarily on snow. Smaller blocks in the central part increase directional stability and reduce rolling resistance during straight-line driving. Large elements on the edges provide stability during maneuvering, allowing for easy control of the vehicle's trajectory. Numerous lamellas increase the reliability of traction properties on wet surfaces, rolled snow, and ice.
