The all-season Hankook K415 Optimo passenger tire, a product of the South Korean tire giant, is designed for passenger cars of various classes.
The asymmetric tread pattern design features an original exterior look. Due to the fact that the tire tread pattern contains four wide longitudinal grooves, the tire effectively combats aquaplaning, which significantly improves safety when driving on wet roads.
The solid central rib of the Hankook K415 Optimo tire provides excellent directional stability and braking performance, as well as reducing rolling resistance. Two additional central ribs, separated by water drainage grooves into blocks, are designed to provide excellent traction and grip on both dry and wet surfaces. The sloping shoulder zones, also separated by transverse grooves into individual blocks, provide excellent road grip when cornering and significantly improve driving comfort. Additionally, the rounded profile of the shoulder zones gives the tire resistance to deformation when cornering, which can cause uneven wear on the tread.
The tire's rubber compound features a high silica content, which provides higher traction characteristics, especially on water-covered roads. Additionally, due to the inclusion of other high-quality components in the rubber compound, this tire features high resistance to wear, which has ensured its longer service life.
