Wet Traction Performance

The HydroGrip technology was used in the development of the tire. It represents a whole complex of technical solutions that have affected almost all components of the tire. Compound with Functional Polymers

The tire's tread is made of a rubber mixture that consists of about two-thirds silica. Increasing the content of this component, which significantly improves traction on wet surfaces, was made possible by the inclusion of functional polymers in the composition. The complex of chemical compounds of artificial origin enhances the intermolecular bonds between all components of the compound, thereby increasing its tensile strength and rupture resistance. In addition to traction properties, this feature improves the ability of the tread to maintain its integrity when driving at high speeds and heating up.

Increased Contact Patch Width

Reliable traction is largely ensured by the tread profile. Its shape was selected to maximize the contact patch. At the same time, the design of the shoulder blocks gives it a rectangular configuration, which has a positive effect on both traction and handling.
