The Blacklion W517 Winter Tamer winter tire is used in pickups and SUVs. It is distinguished by increased efficiency on uncleared roads, reliability at extremely low temperatures, and improved acoustic comfort.
The tread pattern is designed in a directional design with a symmetrical arrangement of elements. One of its key features is the presence of a large number of X-shaped grooves. These elements provide the tire with confident behavior in complex weather conditions. The tread is made of a rubber compound adapted for use at extremely low temperatures. In such conditions, it retains its elasticity, providing reliable traction. The tread pattern contains a large number of sinusoidal lamellas. They are located transversely, thanks to which the tire demonstrates excellent longitudinal traction on icy surfaces. If necessary, it can be further enhanced by installing studs in special holes.
