The Altai Tire Factory offers two versions of the Forward Professional 121 tire. The tubeless version is designed for ZIL-5301, GAZ-3782D and their modifications, while the version with a tube and the letter "M" in the name is for UAZ vehicles. In addition to the scope of application, they differ in the design of the tread pattern. The UAZ model is more suited for off-road driving, while the tubeless version shows its strengths on asphalt.

Low risk of aquaplaning

This model, regardless of the version, demonstrates excellent resistance to aquaplaning. This is achieved due to the presence of numerous drainage grooves. Their throughput is quite high, thanks to the significant volume of these tread elements. The tubeless version has a tread with multiple lamellas. They not only form additional grip edges but also redirect water from the contact patch to the nearby drainage grooves.

Stability in turns

Another common feature of both tire versions is the design of the shoulder areas of their treads. They contain elongated transversely arranged blocks. In the side projection, they have a trapezoidal shape, the height of which increases as it approaches the central part of the tread. This provides additional stability of the blocks to deformation under the influence of lateral acceleration forces. In combination with the massive size of these elements, such features improve traction during maneuvering and also provide the driver with clear feedback, making the driving process easier and simpler.
