Description Top trust SH-215
Top Trust SH-215 — an industrial tire with an R-4 tread pattern designed for loaders and other heavy equipment operating on earthen surfaces. The tread consists of large, separated lugs with open gaps between them.
The massive blocks are positioned at a pronounced angle to the direction of travel. Their wide transverse faces form working edges; this geometry is optimized for transmitting traction force on unpaved surfaces and soft terrain.
Lugs on opposite sides alternate and extend toward the center of the tread. This arrangement distributes working edges across the width of the tread while maintaining open channels between adjacent elements.
Wide and deep gaps are left between the blocks. These create ample space for mud and loose soil, and as the wheel rotates, they help facilitate the expulsion of debris, reducing the tread's tendency to clog.
Outer parts of the lugs reach the shoulder areas, forming working edges at the tread's edges. In ruts and on uneven ground, these elements can extend the grip zone closer to the shoulders.
The broad upper surfaces of the lugs provide a significant contact area when operating on compacted ground. The tread pattern combines these supportive platforms with open voids, preserving pronounced relief for effective performance in loose soil.
