Maxam MS901 R4 – a special-purpose tire designed for installation on excavators, loaders, and a range of other industrial equipment that operates in challenging conditions. The tire has been developed with consideration for modern tire manufacturing trends, resulting in improved operational properties.
The tread base features large "shovel-like" blocks that form a wide rib in the central area, which is responsible for the maneuverability of the vehicle and also provides improved traction and grip. The channels formed between the blocks create wide drainage channels that facilitate rapid self-cleaning of the tread. Each channel features stone ejectors at the bottom. This design has enabled the tire to improve its effectiveness on both viscous soils and rocky surfaces.
A key feature of the tire is its compound, which is a mixture containing a large number of reinforcing additives. This has allowed the tire to minimize the risk of mechanical damage while maintaining a high level of elasticity, which in turn positively affects vibration suppression and improves the operating conditions for the driver.
