In the central part, the elements, due to their "chessboard" arrangement, partially overlap each other, reducing heat and rolling resistance, preventing rapid tread wear, reducing noise and vibration while driving. The increased voids at the edges of the tread allow the tire to avoid "clogging", giving it the ability to intensely self-clean from soil particles.
