Continental SC20+SIT Solid is designed for mixed operating conditions. The model organically combines the requirements for directional stability and traction properties. The tire is recommended for installation on forklifts and features a high level of elasticity.
Solid central rib with lugs
The basis of the sensitive steering response is a monolithic longitudinal zone of the tread. In the "rib" model, it is reinforced with frequent transverse lugs. Each of them works like an independent lug, which increases the efficiency of maneuvering in a limited space. At the same time, such a structure expands the contact patch - the load is distributed more evenly, slowing down the wear of the shoulder areas.
Traction on any surface
The shoulder areas are formed by massive blocks, spaced at a significant distance from each other. They provide:
- stability during maneuvering;
- up to 20% increase in traction force;
- self-cleaning of grooves - dirt does not clog the tread.
Uncompromising resource
The basis of durability is a solid cast structure. This design withstands overloads during maneuvering and intense impacts. The compound is a special mixture with the addition of a package of anti-wear additives. This provides resistance to tears and cuts of the sidewall, abrasive resistance.
Key features of Continental SC20+SIT Solid:
- application on fork-type lift trucks from various manufacturers;
- developed central zone with a solid rib provides steering accuracy and increased maneuverability;
- reliability of traction and braking properties due to the large number of lugs;
- solid cast structure - a guarantee of protection against deformations and punctures;
- high level of elasticity, providing comfort for the operator.
